TERRA launches thematic infographic on sustainable food environments
No âmbito do projeto Care4Food do CEG/IGOT, o TERRA lança infografia que mostra como o território molda as nossas escolhas alimentares, cruzando dados sobre contexto, perceções e sustentabilidade.
The TERRA Associate Laboratory has just launched a new thematic infographic dedicated to Sustainable Food Environments, based on the results of the Care4Food project. This visual tool summarizes the main factors that shape food choices in mainland Portugal, cross-referencing data on territorial context, eating habits, perceptions of sustainability, and barriers to behavioral change.
Created by scientists from the Centre of Geographical Studies (CEG)/IGOT-ULisboa and TERRA members Patrícia Abrantes, Eduarda M. Costa, Cláudia Viana, and Eduardo Jonas Gomes, the infographic presents an integrated reading of food environments in four types — rural, semi-rural, urban, and specialized and multicultural — and highlights the factors of capacity, motivation, and opportunity that influence the adoption of more sustainable food practices.
