The conference will bring together researchers, forest professionals and decision-makers to discuss forest ecosystem resilience, climate-change adaptation, biodiversity conservation, close-to-nature silviculture, long-term monitoring, restoration and sustainable forest management. The conference is supported and promoted by leading European and international organisations, including AnaEE-ERIC, Pro Silva Europe, IUFRO, the European Forest Institute, EUSTAFOR, the FAO European Forestry Commission, EUROPARC Federation and the UNECE Forests Unit, and is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Republic of Croatia.

Tereza Hüttnerová is an assistant professor in the Department of Forest Management and Remote Sensing at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (Czech Republic). She is in Portugal on an exchange through the Erasmus+ Program.

The initiative, part of the Inov@U program, recognizes innovative teaching practices developed by faculty and researchers at ULisboa. The award provides 5,000 euros to support teaching activities or initiatives related to teaching practices.

Esta conferência, organizada pela Universidade de Lisboa e pela UCCLA, e que tem o IGOT-ULisboa como parceiro, pretende ser um espaço de diálogo e partilha de experiências, promovendo uma reflexão crítica sobre as dinâmicas da imigração no espaço lusófono.
