Assente no paradigma Uma Só Saúde (One Health), I Congresso de Gastronomia e Saúde – Uma Só Saúde à Mesa: Turismo, Sustentabilidade e Bem-Estar no Prato propõe um espaço de reflexão e partilha interdisciplinar, explorando a gastronomia como ponto de encontro entre a saúde humana, a segurança alimentar, a sustentabilidade dos sistemas alimentares e o turismo gastronómico. O programa integra sessões plenárias, comunicações científicas, apresentação de posters, um showcooking-almoço temático e uma mesa-redonda final, promovendo o diálogo entre ciência, gastronomia e saúde.

Based on the One Health paradigm, the 1st Congress on Gastronomy and Health – One Health at the Table: Tourism, Sustainability, and Well-being on Your Plate proposes a space for reflection and interdisciplinary sharing, exploring gastronomy as a meeting point between human health, food security, the sustainability of food systems, and gastronomic tourism. The program includes plenary sessions, scientific communications, poster presentations, a themed showcooking lunch, and a final roundtable, promoting dialogue between science, gastronomy, and health.

The TERRA Associated Laboratory marks World Earth Day with its Annual Meeting, which in 2026 will focus on the consequences of severe weather and extreme events caused by climate change in Portugal.
This conference will bring together researchers, representatives of public administration, and policymakers. It will discuss and identify pathways for a more effective transfer of knowledge between science and policy in the Portuguese context.

Major 21st-century environmental challenges — climate change, deforestation, biodiversity loss, planetary health, land grabbing processes, water, and food security — are largely concentrated in the tropical world, particularly across Africa, Latin America, and Asia. While these regions face significant environmental risks, they are also emerging hubs of scientific knowledge, innovation, and solutions critical for the planet’s future.
In this context, the forum Bridging Continents for Planetary Futures, organised within World Environment Day 2026, aims to establish the political, institutional, and operational foundations of the TropikALL Mobility Framework — a future international mobility, training, and research programme inspired by European models but tailored to the needs and potential of tropical regions.
