The Ílhavo Maritime Museum is hosting the photographic exhibition “The Sea as an Object: Women, Science, and the Other Side of the Ocean” by Aníbal Lemos until December 31, 2025.

This exhibition brings together 14 portraits of women connected to the sea and science, each accompanied by an object that symbolizes their scientific and personal journey.
