Sofia Boanova Viegas

Sofia Isabel Almeida Boanova Amâncio Viegas holds a PhD in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Lisbon. She earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Technology with a specialization in Ecology and Natural Resource Management from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a focus on Terrestrial Environmental Biology from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. Currently, she is a science manager at the Associated Laboratory TERRA – Laboratory for Land Use and Ecosystem Services Sustainability. She has several publications and presentations at conferences in the History of Science and scientific dissemination in the area of Biodiversity. In her professional activities, she has interacted with more than 20 collaborators in co-authorships of scientific works.
