TERRA Viva – Diálogos para Políticas Públicas: New cycle of debates reinforces public dialogue on sustainability
Three debates, three major challenges: Biodiversity, environmental health, and regenerative agriculture are highlighted in the new cycle of debates promoted by the TERRA Associate Laboratory.
The TERRA Associate Laboratory launches the debate cycle “TERRA Viva – Diálogos para Políticas Públicas” (TERRA Viva – Dialogues for Public Policy) an initiative designed to strengthen public dialogue on structural issues related to sustainability. Over the course of three sessions, essential issues related to biodiversity, biological resources, agriculture, forests, society, and environmental health will be addressed — areas in which TERRA’s Research Units have been developing applied research and strategic action.
This series of debates is in line with Associate Laboratories mission to promote regular collaboration with higher education institutions, research centers, public bodies, and entities of public interest, actively contributing to public policy responses to major social, environmental, and economic challenges.
The three debates that make up the first cycle of debates “TERRA Viva – Diálogos para Políticas Públicas” will be:
1. Regenerative Agriculture in Practice: Experiences and Challenges
2. The Role of Ecosystems in the Evolution of Antibiotic Resistance
3. Survival Kit: The Impact of Heat Waves on Human Health
The debates will be available on video on TERRA’s official YouTube channel and, for the first time, as podcasts on Spotify*. The first debate will be released tomorrow, and the rest are scheduled to be released by the end of 2025.
This initiative reinforces TERRA’s commitment to linking science, territory, and political decision-making, promoting an integrated and collaborative approach to addressing sustainability challenges.
