The CEO of the Associate Laboratory TERRA, Paulo Branco, visited the Center for Geographic Studies (CEG), one of TERRA’s Research Units.
The Center for Geographical Studies (CEG) is an organic subunit of research and development, integrated in the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning (IGOT) of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa) and enjoys statutory, administrative and scientific autonomy.
Founded in 1943, by Professor Orlando Ribeiro, it has a team of more than 141 integrated researchers, 71 of which have doctorates, and is the main reference in the research and dissemination of geographical knowledge in Portugal and one of the most prestigious research units at the international level. This Center is also one of the Research Units of the Associate Laboratory TERRA.
