Several researchers from the TERRA Associated Laboratory have had their their name and work recognised by the Research.com ranking.
This is the result of an in-depth analysis of more than one hundred and sixty thousand profiles, which annually presents the names of the most relevant scientists whose impact and contributions transcend borders. The position of each scientist is determined by the D index (an indicator of the researcher’s influence and relevance within the scientific community).
With a comprehensive approach, this classification includes research leaders from all major scientific areas. But although the number of documents published in renowned journals and conferences does not directly determine a scientist’s position in the ranking, it serves as a complementary signal of their influence on research in a given area.
This is an opportunity for the research community to confirm who the main authorities are in areas of scientific research, not only at a global level, but also at a national and institutional level.
