Margarida Queirós

Margarida Queirós (margaridav@edu.ulisboa.pt) is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning (IGOT), University of Lisbon and a permanent researcher at the Center for Geographical Studies (CEG), University of Lisbon. Between 2016 and 2021, she was the director of the journal Finisterra, Revista Portuguesa de Geografia. Her research focuses on gender equality, environmental policies, and spatial planning. She is a member of the Ibero-Latin American Network for the Study of Geography, Gender and Sexualities (REGGSILA) and RIDOT (Ibero-American Network for Spatial Planning). She has collaborated on various national and international projects, such as the National Spatial Planning Policy Program (PNPOT); the Study of Seismic Risk and Tsunamis in the Algarve (ERSTA); and the Regional Spatial Planning Plan for the West and Tagus Valley (PROT OVT); Study for gender indicators in the fields of environment and territory and Guide for gender mainstreaming; Policies and measures to promote equality and fight discrimination in municipalities; Study to support the implementation of national equality policy measures from a territorial perspective; GenMob, Gender and Mobility: (GenMob, gender and mobility: space-time inequality ¿ EEA Grants, PT07, 2nd Open Call) (http://genmob. ceg.ulisboa.pt/); ESPON ReSSI.
