On Earth Day, April 22, we will discuss land sustainability from both an ecosystem and population perspective.
To celebrate the creation of the Associate Laboratory TERRA, TERRA will host a gathering on Earth Day, April 22, involving various sectors of society. The meeting will begin with a presentation of TERRA by its CEO, Paulo Branco, the Vice-Rector of the University of Lisbon, Cecília Rodrigues, the Vice-Rector of the University of Coimbra, João Ramalho Santos, and the Coordinator of the Associate Laboratories Council, João Rocha.
Focused on reflecting on current challenges, TERRA will also engage in discussions about science, sustainability, and development during a roundtable. Participants include Filipe Pimentel Rações (Journalist from Green Savers), Marta Cortegano (Associação Terra Sintrópica Director), Miguel Galante (Multilateral Affairs Division of Camões I.P.), and Ricardo Trigo (Instituto Dom Luiz Researcher). The moderation will be led by Professor Teresa Ferreira, President of the TERRA Coordination Council.
